We started the day off at an amazing hotel in canindé de Sao Francisco. While enjoying the rainy weather, we had our breakfast at 5h15. At 6am our bus left to go to Praia do Forte. We drove for 7 hours until we got to the beautiful small village.
We visited the Tamar project (Protection of Sea Turtles). Where we got to see different kinds of fishes, turtles and sharks. After this we got a bit of free time to explore the charming village with its small shops. At 17h30 we continued or travel to Salvador. Ending up in a pretty hotel called Marano.
Shortly after we left the hotel to have dinner in an Italian restaurant. Where we got to enjoy pizza a volonté. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel for the meeting. We continued our night with free time in the hotel to prepare ourself for the next day. We’re both really excited to visit Salvador, which is the first big touristic city on this trip!
